Immerse Yourself

No matter where you’re studying health care online, your experience will be hands-on, collaborative, and connected to the world around you. Join us to see how our curriculum can launch your career as a leader in the health administration fields.

Advanced Practicum

Health Information Management students participate in an on-site health care Professional Practice Experience (PPE), completing 60 hours of work on a health care site and 60 hours in a virtual lab, for a total of 120 hours.

Administrator-in-Training Program

Students can immerse themselves in the management of a Long-Term Care Facility, and is scripted with required rotations through the various departments in a facility.

Fast-Track to MHA

Get a head start on your MHA. Students enrolled in the bachelor’s degree programs can substitute graduate-level courses for comparable undergraduate courses and earn their MHA faster.

Partnerships

Health care students can take advantage of specialized partnerships that focus on your study to advance in your career path.

American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA)

When long-term care and health administration students and alumni join, they are able to use all of the resources available to further their career in healthcare. Additional resources include leadership, advocacy, and education.

RAYUS Radiology

This national Radiology provider offers continuing education and has internships and practicums available to SJC students. Since RAYUS is a leader in Radiology, our radiology alumni can network with RAYUS for professional opportunities.

Radiology Partnership

Our AS Radiologic Science program has partnerships with many teaching hospitals across the country, allowing students to complete their undergrad courses. Coupling this with the teaching facility, further allows the student to sit for their license once they complete their technical education portion with our AS degree. Students can then continue and earn a BS.
