The Monks earned 253 individual honors, including 79 academic accolades, 42 All-Conference awards and 63 weekly honors.

28-3 record

Pitcher Chad Rafferty ’13 broke the baseball victories record (one that stood for 27 years) and finished his career with an astounding 28-3 record.

1,229 digs

Volleyball star Sarah Hawkes ’13 holds the record for career digs at 1,229. Hawkes is the only SJC volleyball player – and one of just four GNAC players – to have recorded career totals of 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs. She leaves the SJC program as the Monks’ all-time leader in kills (1,107), solo blocks (146) and total blocks (261).

38 seconds

Amber Dostie ’15 beat the former record for women’s cross country 5K by 38 seconds, finishing in 18:30, at the Maine Championship event on October 13, 2012.

11 double-doubles

Basketball center Morgan Cahill ’16 outpaced all GNAC players, earning 11 double-doubles and 2.2 blocks per game. For her efforts, Cahill earned GNAC Women’s Basketball and Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Rookie of the Year honors.

1,000 goals

Forward Danielle Daigle ’15 netted the 1,000th goal in the 24-year history of the women’s soccer program in a victory over Thomas College on September 6, 2012.

607 at bats

Outfielder Danyelle Shufelt ’13 capped her SJC softball career as the Monks’ all-time leader in games (176) and at bats (607). She was also GNAC’s Woman of the Year athlete.

.689 record

The Class of 2013 posted a 681-307 (.689) aggregate record – the most wins by a senior class in SJC history and the highest winning percentage since 1997.
