This course is designed to prepare you to teach the Red Cross Lifeguarding, Shallow Water Lifeguarding, CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers, Basic Water Rescue, Administering Emergency Oxygen and Blood borne Pathogens Training: Preventing Disease Transmission courses and/or modules.
Dates
***ALL courses are Blended Learning courses that combines online learning with on-site skills sessions where you will practice skills and demonstrate competency. Please plan to complete the initial online lessons of your training at least two days prior to your first on-site skills session which is scheduled.***
For participants that fail to pass the pre-course skills or withdraw within 5 days of the course, a refund minus $75 will be mailed to the participant. Participation in the course does not guarantee successful completion. Should the course participant fail to successfully complete the course, drop out of the course, or not attend the course, no refund will be issued. Successful or unsuccessful completion is at the sole discretion of the instructor and/or Saint Joseph’s College.

Prerequisites
- Students must be at least 17 years of age.
- Students must have a current ARC certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED or an equivalent certificate from another organization.
- Successfully complete pre-course skills assessment and online training
