Online RN to MSN

Finally, an RN-to-MSN program designed with the working nurse in mind! This degree program is designed for both diploma and associate degree registered nurses who want to earn their master's and advance their skills.

With increasing emphasis on patient outcomes across all health care settings, the online RN-to-MSN degree program at Saint Joseph's College helps you build upon your nursing education. You will increase knowledge in evidence-based care, clinical decision making, ethical practice, population-based care, and health promotion and disease prevention. With an emphasis on professional writing, you will be well-positioned to be successful in the MSN-level courses.

How will this work

You will complete 4 preparatory classes in advance of beginning your MSN classes. The preparatory classes will focus on leadership, professional writing, evidence-based practice, health policy, ethics, and quality/safety. You will not receive a BSN as part of this program, just the MSN.

How long will it take?

The preparatory classes can be completed in as little as one semester. The MSN courses can be completed in as little as 2 1/2 years as a full-time student. See curriculum below for more details. Or contact an admissions counselor now to see how long it would take you to earn your RN to MSN degree!
