Teaches Chemistry courses including Organic Chemistry I and II.
Scholarly interests - synthesis of medicinally relevant organic small molecule libraries, featuring medium-sized rings that can serve as biological probes.
Yi Jin Kim Gorske has extensive experience teaching organic chemistry at several colleges and universities, including 4+ years at liberal arts institutions in Maine. Prior to entering academia as a professional, she was a medicinal chemist working on the development of new small molecule therapeutics at a pharmaceutical company in New Jersey. She is an organic chemist with a broad interest in the synthesis of medicinally relevant and structurally diverse small molecule libraries.
