Over the past 21 years, John Kenneally has taught undergraduate- and graduate-level courses as an adjunct instructor at Southern New Hampshire University as well as at various colleges and universities in Maine, including Husson University, Thomas College, and Colby College. Kenneally also boasts substantial experience in the fields of banking, entrepreneurship, and educational publishing. He has worked in a variety of capacities for companies ranging from small, entrepreneurial ventures to large, Fortune 500 companies, and has founded and co-founded a couple of small businesses. In addition to his position at Saint Joseph’s, he is a committee member for Biddeford Vision 2020 and the owner of Kenneally & Company, a business specializing in marketing, strategy, and training.
Kenneally approaches his course material with the philosophy that business should be learned collaboratively in an environment where people bring experiences to the classroom and apply them to relevant theory. James Collins, John P. Kotter, and Frederick Reichheld are among some of his favorite business authors, and he credits their works with informing his thoughts on business instruction and consulting practices.
In his spare time, Kenneally enjoys hockey, traveling to new places, and staying up to date on the latest innovations.
