Garrett VanAtta is actively involved in Saint Joseph's College by developing and teaching business management courses and serving on the Board of Trustees.
His background includes working in several manufacturing sectors including paper, automotive components, textiles, and telecommunications. He has served as president of a $100 million telecommunications business, providing broadcast and wireless antenna systems to international television, radio, and mobile phone companies, and is currently serving as the vice president of innovation engineering for an extreme temperature textile manufacturer. His roles have included positions in industrial engineering, operations and supply chain management, sales, and business development. His career has taken him to many regions of the world, including China, India, Bangladesh, Brazil, and most of Europe.
