Dawn comes to Saint Joseph's after instructing at Colby College as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for nine years. Prior to Colby, Dawn has worked for 15 years performing multiple roles in the sport and exercise science field, including four years part time as a strength and conditioning coach for US Women's Hockey National Teams, five years as an exercise physiologist for Maine Med. Sports Medicine Clinic, and eight years as a strength and conditioning coach at Bowdoin College.
Dawn resides in Lisbon, Maine. In her spare time, Dawn enjoys hiking, cycling, strength training, athletics, helping others, self-growth development, and spending time with family.

In the News
For nine years, Strout was the head strength and conditioning coach at Colby College, lending her considerable knowledge and experience to athletes, students, faculty, and staff. She is the former USA Hockey strength and conditioning coach and was responsible for ensuring Colby’s NCAA athletes reached peak performance.
