Dr. Christopher Stone has been a central administrator with the Montour School District in Pittsburgh, PA since 2007. Prior to being promoted to central office in 2011, he had the privilege of serving as the principal at David E. Williams Middle School. Dr. Stone earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Duquesne University and his Doctorate degree from Robert Morris University. His dissertation focused on various supervision strategies for teachers and providing meaningful feedback. Dr. Stone is involved in various professional organizations which include PASCD, AASA, and NAESP.
Stone has also completed the National Institute of School Leadership Academy and Pennsylvania Inspired Leadership Academy sponsored through the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
His publications embrace differentiated supervision practices as they relate to public education. His hobbies include physical fitness and researching innovative learning practices.
